Attachment Vs Detachment

I find myself in some of this... as a male. I'm not sure anyone has been "trained" well enough to be the correct person for every other person. Everyone hurts. He may have been hurting, also. Not to justify any actions, it is difficult to say how someone who isn't mean in any way is wrong in how they cope. We are all in our struggles, all brought up differently.
